PICO will invest equity to sponsor management buyouts, corporate spin-offs, recapitalizations, family successions, distressed situations/turnarounds and to fund organic growth and/or acquisitions. Each transaction is structured to meet each owner's specific objectives. Sellers may remain fully involved in day-to-day operations or dramatically reduce involvement after a transition period.
Preferred investment targets of PICO will:
- Be located within 150 miles of Cincinnati, OH (please see a map of our targeted geography)
- Generate $4 million to $30 million of revenue
- Possess stable cash flows, with at least $1 million of EBITDA
- Belong to one of our focus industries (for more detail, please see our list of targeted SIC codes)

We will consider distressed and turnaround situations if there is a history of profitability. We generally do not invest in start-up or high-tech businesses.
